Claas Dominator 38-68 (1981-87)
Uuteen 8-sarjaan esiteltiin ensimmäisenä pienimmät mallit 38 ja 48, jotka olivat lähinnä vanhan Consulin seuraajia. 38 oli uuden malliston ainoa 3-kohliminen malli. Vuotta myöhemmin esiteltiin 56:n ja 66:n seuraajiksi 58 ja 68, joissa oli pienempiä malleja pidemmät kohlimet. Muuten mallien väliset erot rajoittuivat lähinnä moottoritehoon ja viljasäiliön kokoon.
